Marketing to Insurance Agencies

One-on-one contact

Since the inception of the TPA, most Insurance companies have strongly suggested to its Agents and Agencies that they have no industry related segment relationships.  Most of this is due to the contractual arrangements the corporate office has with a TPA for their services.  This contract is not to be confused with the individual contracts the corporate office has with the individual agencies.  This contract typically specifies that the agency can only sell the corporate offerings and generally only apply to new agencies.  This has no applicability for Independent agencies or the older agencies that are grand-fathered in.

Glass Replacement Contracts

With the advent of the online independent insurance services, the emphasis has been placed on saving the consumer money by raising their deductible.  This creates a large gap in the consumer’s glass replacement coverage because of the higher deductible.  The NGE’s Glass Replacement Contracts not only fill this void, but still saves the consumer money.

Revenue Stream

To ensure any new product offering, it must be profitable for the selling agent as well as filling a niche lost to the consumer.  The NGE GRC’s provide a 15% commission to the selling agency while filling the gap of auto glass coverage.

Controlled and Expanded Market Share

The NGE’s GRC programs provide an offering that Insurance companies do not offer because it is not cost effective for them to have an internal program.  By providing a “value add” service such as the GRC, the agents now have a tool to not only ensure keeping their customer, but attract new customers with the potential of additional policies.

Reduce “Loss Ratio”

Most agencies receive year-end bonuses based upon their loss ratio, claims to sales.  By eliminating claims due to glass replacement, their ratio is reduced thus providing them with increased bonuses.

A Cost Saving Solution for Insurance Companies

The Glass Protection Contract is designed for inclusion in the sale of any auto insurance policy. The benefits to the Insurance Company are that they can provide free windshield replacement service while simultaneously offering a higher deductible rate for a lower premium. As customers are driving the market toward lower premiums, the advantage is clear.

The Insurance Company is taken out of the windshield claims picture as soon as the contract is sold. The Insurance Company no longer pays for any claims, nor do they incur any overhead for managing the claims process.

Benefits:

  • Cost Savings - The Insurance Company no longer pays for any claims, nor do they incur any overhead for managing the claims process.
  • Customer Satisfaction - The insured can take their vehicle to any Auto Glass Replacement shop in North America for replacement rather than being forced into a TPA network shop. NGE affiliated shops are screened for quality, and must uphold stringent safety practices. The entire process is simple, and streamlined.
  • Lower Premiums - By removing traditional windshield coverage, the insured can lower premiums and take a higher deductible.
  • Marketing Opportunities - Stressing the safety issues of a properly installed, quality windshield versus a cheap, cut rate windshield.

Long Term Loss Reduction - As the windshield is an integral part of the safety of the vehicle, poor quality windshields that fail in subsequent crashes lead to higher losses. Insurance companies can protect their insured and their bottom line by knowing that NGE affiliates install quality products.
